Free online tools and guides
GB7 makes small, useful things for the web and gives them away: each does one job, asks for no account and says plainly where its facts come from. Rather the point, really.
What we make
-
Seed phrase generator
seedgen.ukA 12- or 24-word phrase and its Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Tron and TON addresses, made in your browser. The page sends nothing anywhere; switch on airplane mode and it still works.
-
Domain name search
dmnr.ukWhich extensions are free for a name, checked live, and what Porkbun, GoDaddy and Dynadot charge for each — the renewal beside the first year, because the first year is so often the bait.
-
London calendar
l0n.ukThe fixed points of the London year — New Year's Eve, the Boat Race, the Marathon, Chelsea — each date as its organiser published it, with the source named beside it.
What's new
- l0n.uk: London's big dates for the year ahead
A London calendar of the year's fixed dates — New Year's Eve, the Boat Race, the Marathon, Chelsea — each one as its organiser published it, with the source named beside it.
- dmnr.uk: domain name search, cheapest first
Type a name and see which of 800-odd extensions are free, with Porkbun's, GoDaddy's and Dynadot's price for the first year and for renewal side by side.
- seedgen.uk: a seed phrase generator that never goes online
One tap makes a 12- or 24-word phrase and its Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Tron and TON addresses, in the browser, with no request leaving the page.
How we work
Everything here is free to use. Nothing asks you to sign up, and nothing sells what you type. Where a page states a fact — a price, a date, a rule — it names the source, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
The tools are open source under the MIT licence. If one of them is wrong, an issue on GitHub is the quickest way to tell us, and it will be put right.
